Homecoming 2011

Today was Catoosa's Homecoming. And strangely, there was no school today. Since Randy now works days, and only the babies are in daycare- I didn't have anyone to stay with the kids today. I went ahead and took a vacation day from work. Thank goodness!

We spent the morning running around getting face paint and hair color. We grabbed donuts when we left the house and Starbucks on our way home, so it was a fun morning.

I let the twins have a quick picnic on a blanket in the living room floor. We went with McDonald's since the twins were ready for their naps.

While the babies napped, I worked on Josh's poster. I didn't love the first one, so I made a second.

Not bad, for what I had to work with.

Josh got to ride on the 7th Grade Football float, Randy drove a firetruck (a little one, but it counts) and Jacob and Jack hung out with me and caught candy.

Josh is #52.

A ton of people yelled at Jacob because his makeup was so cool and scary. And Jacob told me I was the best Mom in the world for painting everyone's face.

After the parade, we met Vicki and Jeffrey at La Mansion for a quick dinner before the football game.

The game was great- even though they had it blocked off so that I couldn't conveniently get the stroller up into the stands. Not that there would have been a place to sit if I had. Catoosa won 44-12 over Maclain. Afterwards, we raced home and ran everyone through the shower and put them in bed.

Tomorrow is another big day. We have to be in Claremore at 8:30 in the morning and then in Bartlesville at 2:30.

What's on your agenda for this weekend?
