Giving Thanks

So a lot of my friends on Facebook are vowing to post one thing they are thankful for each day in the month of November. I think this is a great idea. The over-achiever in me has decided that I should also make this one thing a blog post each day- so I get back in the habit of blogging. We'll see how that goes.

Today- I am thankful that I have so many things to be thankful for, that I don't know where to start! How's that for a cop out? But really- which thing should be at the top of the list? The kids and Randy each deserve their own day (or two) and there's just so danged many other things. And I decided THAT is worth being thankful for.

Also- we went to Catoosa's Hometown Halloween last night. It was a great event, as usual.

Naturally, Josh was too cool to dress up. Sadly, I didn't even get a picture of him, but I should have.

Jacob was Opie Taylor again. He looks the part. Adults think it's funny, but most kids haven't heard of the Andy Griffith Show.

Jackson really really  wanted to be Michael Jackson. Which is creepy, but he's too young to tell him why I think that's creepy. I lucked out and he decided he would settle for being a vampire, if I would buy the fake blood too. SOLD! Besides, the complexion is about the same...

And the twins...

They started out the day as the Tortoise and the Hare...

And ended up as Thing 1 and Thing 2...

And yes, Thing 1 is crying- Jacob gave him the fishing pole and he INSTANTLY started using it as a weapon. (Duh- he's a boy.) So Jacob promptly took it away. Ace was hacked off for a good hour after that.

AND yes, they DID keep their wigs on the whole time! Woohoo!

How was your Halloween? Anyone want to join me in this Daily Thanksgiving mission?

Definitely an over-achiever mission! At least FB thankfulness is a one-liner and not a full blog! LOL! I am so proud! Can't wait to read all of your blogs this month!! :-)
